●ZEON KASEI's headquarter and laboratory obtained ISO 14001 Certification.
ZEON KASEI Co., Ltd. (Yoshiro Ogura, President), a wholly owned subsidiary of ZEON Corporation (Naozumi Furukawa, President & CEO) obtained ISO 14001 Certification for the headquarter and laboratory operations from the Japan Electrical Safety & Environment Technology Laboratories (JET). In order to establish its environmental management system, ZEON KASEI worked vigorously through coordinated efforts of the entire group and obtained this certification only in 6 months. As a result of this, the entire ZEON KASEI group, including Ibaraki ZEON KASEI Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of ZEON KASEI that had obtained the certification in November 2003, has obtained the certification. ZEON KASEI Co., Ltd. manufactures and sells low-pollution resin sheets and molded products, energy-conservation wire & strip heating elements, home appliance recycling contribution type thermal conductive materials and deodorant for the improvement of living environments as well as products for architectural purposes, including compounds, cast film and siding material. We have produced many eco-friendly products such as low-pollution LIFEL Sheets used for food, and resin compounds containing woodchips with improved durability by utilizing natural resources for architectural use. The acquisition of ISO 14001 certification has made ZEON KASEI more aware of our corporate philosophy, "contributing to society with Ecology & Amenity as its keywords," and has provided impetus for even greater environment-friendly product development. |
